Kari Loomer is a first-generation attorney, who, from a very young age, knew that a career in law was in her future. She is a North Carolina transplant and is very excited to be living in Denver and experiencing all that it has to offer.

Ms. Loomer focuses her law practice on complex civil litigation at the trial and appellate levels. Since joining Kresl & Singer in 2017, Ms. Loomer has specialized in defending insurance companies, insureds, municipalities, and medical professionals in state and federal courts.

Ms. Loomer attended North Carolina State University, where she graduated in 2014 cum laude, with a B.A. in Political Science, History and Spanish minors.  While at NC State Ms. Loomer was a member of the University Honors Program, Dance Team, and was an active member in her sorority, holding a number of leadership positions.  Ms. Loomer earned her J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2017, graduating on the Dean’s List.  In law school, Ms. Loomer served as an editor on the North Carolina Journal of International Law, where she is published, competed nationally with her moot court team, and got to rush Franklin Street after the National Championship win.  Ms. Loomer also spent a semester clerking on the North Carolina Court of Appeals.

Ms. Loomer is a member of numerous professional organizations including the Colorado Bar Association, the Denver Bar Association, the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association, and the Colorado Women’s Bar Association. Ms. Loomer is also on the Board of Directors for Feel the Beat, Corp., and volunteers her time with this amazing non-profit.

Outside of work, she enjoys exploring her new city and state with her fiancé and dog, watching both the Wolfpack and Tarheels (hopefully) dominate the ACC, and getting back into skiing.
