Jason T. Largey

Jason Largey earned his law degree in 2003 and entered the U.S. Air Force Judge Advocate General's (JAG) Corps. During his tenure in the Air Force JAG Corps, Captain Largey tried more than 30 trials by Courts-Martial—first as a prosecuting Trial Counsel and later defending Airmen as the Area Defense Counsel at California's Vandenberg Air Force Base.

From 2004 to 2006, Captain Largey served as the Claims Officer at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas, where he defended the Air Force in actions against Air Force health care providers accused of medical malpractice by dependents of active duty airmen and military retirees.  From 2006 to 2008, he was the Chief of Civil Law at Vandenberg Air Force Base before being selected as the base defense attorney. While serving as the Area Defense Council, Captain Largey was part of the successful defense team in a murder trial representing the Air Force's most-wanted fugitive.

Upon separation from the Air Force JAG Corps, Mr. Largey joined the Office of the Colorado Attorney General. As part of the Attorney General's Medical Unit, he represented the Colorado State Board of Medical Examiners in enforcing the Medical Practice Act against physicians and physician assistants who either committed unprofessional conduct or who were no longer able to practice with reasonable skill and safety to patients.
